Videocapture stuck at 5fps

Post by anchew »

for some reason every time I connect my logitech 920 / logitec brio (rip it broke recently so no longer able to test w it) there is a 50/50 gamble that it will be stuck at 5fps, unless I change it to 150x200~.

REFERANCE VIDEOS: (ignore the high apature, this happens with or without it that way, I understand that can cause its own lag too)
in other programs: https://i.gyazo.com/b87f410041f27c3a200 ... 17f05f.mp4
in magic: https://i.gyazo.com/63c4cd4d6f6566bc954 ... 649a2d.mp4

things ive tried :
  • -unplugging/replugging
-reinstalling drivers / reinstalling logitech hub
-opening it hub first / opening it magic first
-relaunching magic / reinitalizing / resetting settings to default / reloading scene / creating a new project
-using videocapture/videocaptureDS (it seems to not show up at all on non-DS in these instances)
    -changing usb port (sometimes works)
    -rebooting windows (sometimes works)

note: this only happens in magic, every other program seems to display the camera fine
note 2: all other camera sources appear fine and normal fps

fun extras(might be useless, please ignore unless seemingly related):
-This also happened with nvidia broadcast as a source.
-Sometimes instead of 5fps it just will not appear. the window will stutter as if its changing something and then continue to show nothing.

Have you tried using the VideoCaptureDS module?

Sorry, I missed that.

I suggest you try specifying the frame rate as described in this post: viewtopic.php?p=9675#p9675
