Can't Open any File

I saved a project, and upon opening it again, Magic is showing the default empty scene. I then made a simple test save file of just a polygon plugged in. Tried to open that, and still blank project file is loaded. Finally, I decided to open some of the sample projects, and they load empty as well. I've never encountered this problem. I uninstalled, and reinstalled. Version 2.31 on a windows10 machine that I've used magic on for a couple of years now.

Please advise.

After "resetting all settings" in the help menu - all my projects fail to load
"error: failed to load".

I'm not sure! I haven't encountered that problem before. Can you upload a screenshot of the error message?
