Used some audio reactive visuals spouted into Arena, and video mapped them onto bits and bobs.
Loving using Magic like this, but it would be great if you could just drop Magic Scenes into Resolume and use them like flash or Quartz composer.

Re: Magic Spouted into Resolume Arena
Nice work, Dachhu.
Are you using Syphon to send video source from Magic to Arena?
(I'm new to visual system)

Re: Magic Spouted into Resolume Arena
I'm windows based so it's using spout to stream the video. but you could easily do the same thing with syphon.
Re: Magic Spouted into Resolume Arena
Was Magic and Resolume running on the same laptop ?
I have a requirement to spout from Magic on one laptop to Resolume on the laptop next to me.
I know I need to use Spout, but not sure how to get it from one laptop to another.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Magic Spouted into Resolume Arena
Did some more reading.
Syphon and Spout won't solve this for me, but NDI will.
Found an NDI module for Magic
https://github.com/leadedge/MagicNDI
Windows only
The use case, is I'm doing a VJ session at a festival in a few weeks.
They are using multiple projectors, blended into a single large image. All the mapping and blending is being done in Resolume.
The solution is I'll do all my work within Magic then send my output via NDI to their Resolume rig and they will take care of mapping and blending, so I don't have to think about it.
