i noticed that when the fade begins, whether it's cross or additive, when the fade starts it resets the parameter to it's initial value at the beginning of the fade of the underlying scene...this creates a jump in the visual...
this seems to only happen as per the set-up in the attached file where the same scene is being referenced but different transform (in this case translate) modules are being applied to the separate scenes...

I'd noticed the jumping on some of my projects, but hadn't been able to isolate the cause. Needed messy workarounds or design compromises
Well done for the diagnosis and elegant demo!
A fix for this would be really helpful, as "Scene modules provide an efficient way to encapsulate entire chains of modules so they can be used multiple times. Scene modules are also convenient for saving space in the work area."

Hmm, yes, this issue has popped up before. It's an easy fix, but I think there's some other consequence which I can't remember now. But I'll have another look .
