Hi, i'm new to it too so i hope this helps:
Now that you have the obs spout 2 plugin installed, you'll get a new source in obs called "spout 2 capture", add that with "first available sender". Then go to MMV - window - magic window options, check "spout output" and "use spout 2". That should do it!

Re: How do i get my visuals into obs
I gave this a quick try and it seemed to work just fine.
Steps:
1) I updated my OBS installation to OBS 28.1.2
2) I downloaded and ran the OBS<>Spout plugin https://github.com/Off-World-Live/obs-s ... -obs28.exe
3) I loaded a project into Magic, then enabled Spout output (Window>Magic Window Options>Spout Output)
4) I confirmed Spout v2 was selected (Window>Magic Window Options>Use Spout v2)
5) I started OBS, clicked + in the Sources panel then selected Spout2 Capture
6) I clicked OK on the Create/Select Source popup window
7) A properties window opened for Spout2 Capture, displaying my Magic output. I set Spout Senders to Magic Main Sender and clicked OK
8) My Magic output appeared in the OBS preview window, but it was zoomed in and there was a red box around it.
9) I set OBS to match my Magic project's resolution, and the full Magic output was shown in the OBS preview, without any red box
EDIT, sending transparency from Magic as well:
10) I sent Magic's output with an alpha (transparency) channel (Window>Magic Window Options>Send Alpha Channel)
11) In OBS I changed the Spout2 Capture properties, setting Composite Mode to Premultiplied Alpha
12) I added an image to the OBS Sources panel, then dragged it below the Spout2 Capture source. The image was then visible in the transparent regions of my Magic output.

Hi, I can't manage to set it up as you have described. In the OBS sources, it only lets me select the menu window of the program, but the magic window does not appear as a source.

Assuming that you double checked that you have followed all the steps, I think the next check is to see if Magic is sending a Spout output and that the OBS plugin can receive from a different Spout source.
A Spout installation will normally include a standalone Spout sender and receiver which is very useful for diagnosing these issues. The standalone receiver will show if Magic is sending Spout output, and the standalone sender will show if OBS is capable of receiving.
I don't have my laptop to hand at the moment, and will update this post with details when I have a chance.
What versions of Magic, OBS and operating system are you using?
Update:
a) I have just updated OBS and my versions are now are as follows:
Magic Performer v2.33 64-bit
OBS Stusio 30.1.2
Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
b) I wanted the latest Spout plugin and went to https://github.com/Off-World-Live/obs-s ... n/releases
(I'm not sure if the installation went OK, and don't know a way to list the installed plugins and their versions)
None of this may have been necessary.
c) I downloaded the Spout standalone https://github.com/leadedge/Spout2/rele ... 07-014.zip from https://github.com/leadedge/Spout2/releases
d) I unzipped the file and navigated to SPOUT_2007-014\SPOUT-2007\DEMO
e) Running the SpoutReceiver opened a window showing Magic's Spout output
f) Running the SpoutSender opened a window showing the revolving cube.
g) In OBS on the Source toolbar I added Spout2 Capture.
The SpoutSenders dropdown offered [Magic Main Sender] and [Spout Demo Sender]
Selecting either showed the corresponding source content.
