Hi everyone, I've just updated the Magic download page with the v1.61 release: http://magicmusicvisuals.com/download

Version 1.61 has a bunch of useful new features. Here's the full entry from the VersionHistory.txt file (included with the Magic installation):

Code: Select all

What's New In Version 1.61
--------------------------
- Added MIDI control for modifier parameters and bypass
- Added MIDI control for individual playlist entries
- Added input for Scene modules
- Added option to synchronize modules via playlist
- Added new Remove Unused Inputs command
- Added Beat Clock auto-detection to MIDI Learn with option to disable
- Added option to remove assigned MIDI commands
- Added new sample projects: SceneInputExample, DancingRobot, StereoSpectrum_30Band
- Added parameter to Mask module for toggling transparency source
- Improved speed of closing application
- Fixed bug with fullscreen window not closing properly on some graphics cards
- Fixed bug with occasional crash after exiting
- Fixed bug with some modules not minimizing properly in Editor Window
- Fixed bug with dragging mouse to edit tab names
Magic 1.61 also introduces some pricing/naming changes. The full edition of Magic is now called "Magic Performer", and will revert to its original retail price of $69.95 USD now that our introductory period has concluded. However, we are still offering an edition at $39.95 USD, called "Magic Studio", which contains most features needed for creating videos, and should be a good value for users who aren't interested in VJing. A full feature comparison can be found on our features page: http://magicmusicvisuals.com/features

If you decide to purchase Studio first, you can upgrade to Performer at any time on our purchase page: http://magicmusicvisuals.com/purchase. We also now accept direct credit card payments for all purchases, as well as PayPal.

If you've already purchased a copy of Magic (v1.6 or earlier), don't worry! Your features won't be downgraded. You'll still have everything you paid for. The only difference will be the internet connection requirement, as it was before. If you purchased the "offline" option for 1.6 or earlier, you don't need an internet connection after initial activation (like Magic Performer); if you purchased the standard version of Magic, you do need a connection at least once every 30 days (like Magic Studio). I hope you enjoy, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
