A Quick Video to Audio 'Vibe' test :)

Post by TheLaughingBuddha »

Both video and audio are very much a work in progress (video is just place holders really and audio still needs mixing properly).
I am after a chillout vibe...could anyone have a look and and tell me if the visual vibe is going with the audio vibe (I am not a video artist lol).
I've uploaded in HD so choose that playback option if possible.
Again...very much at the start of the project.
Regards.

Love the audio - very Michael Stearns. It totally brought "Baraka" to mind.

The video and audio both are very chill, so you are achieving a good match. One thing I sometimes struggle with is to have a feeling of visual unity when mixing shaders in a project. Having disparate styles (e.g geometric clashing with realistic) can create a kind of visual disjointedness that may work against the chill vibe you're after. In effect, the clash can create a mental panic as the mind tries to reconcile the lack of visual cohesion.

Great start!

Thanks mate...yes video making is not what I am good at...I see what you mean about the clash in in styles and I totally agree.
I tend to get carried away as there are so many good shaders out there.
Again...thanks for your input.

Do it enough, and it will be something you're good at. :-)
