m12

Post by visuality »

I created my own original track, Boards of Canada style, so I decided to create this quick visual for it as well. Nothing amazing, as you can see it still has magic frame info on it! I will correct that later. It is not themed, the video is more like scrap paper for a few ideas I had, thanks for watching and have a great day all.

This is fantastic. Nice use of the Video Heightfield shader.

If you like that effect I've been doing a bunch of work adding interfaces and tweaking shaders from http://Shadertoy.comand porting them over to http://InteractiveShaderFormat.com.

I recently did some extensive tweaks of Video Heightfield, adding XYZ translation and variable height extrusion that can also be switched to inset. You can find it here:

Cheers!

Thanks so much for the compliment, I'm afraid it was very sloppy but I was just trying to flesh out ideas quickly. Awesome that you translated the shader to isf, I am trying to figure out how to render the shader to lit wire-frame instead of shaded volume slices. I am shooting for a look closer to what may have inspired the creation of the shader, the Rutt Etra Hardware Synth. Here is a example of what it can potentially look like:

and more info on the harware synth:

Thanks again.
