Triggering Video Start - second vid

Tue May 18, 2021 7:24 pm

Hi, hope you doing well.

I have now done another video by triggering the movement of the mallets with the respective sounds. Again this makes things much easier than cut the whole video with respect to the correct timing.
Additionally, for this video I have used Mallets which were stop motion photographed with green backgound. I have then used the fast chroma from Magic Visuals which work really good I have to say :)

Hope you enjoy!

Haha, very fun. I think the only thing that would make it a bit better is some slightly more realistic shadows for the mallets.

Thanks,

yes I agree there is the need to improve the shadows. Currently the shadows are part of the green screen photos (by defined light and resulting dark shadows which are more increased by increasing the contrast before green screen), but it is quite hard to get it in the right way. Maybe it is easier to create them just in the end just with "translate" by anticipate the movement of the shadow.

The absolutely perfect way would be if there is Magic tool where I can create shadows for rotation symmetric parts (where 2d is enough) for defined projection face ;)
