Keystroke control.

Post by walmartian »

For those without midi gear or with limitations on midi gear they already own.
Basically the ability to map keyboard characters (qwerty) to parameters.
For midi gear that is hard mapped it is a great tool in combination with a midi keystroke translator.
You could also do things like hacking a bluetooth keyboard into a wireless keytar. 8-)

That's a good idea. I'm surprised no one has thought of it before (including me :)).

Will it be ok that a keyboard key value is only 0 or 1 with nothing in between?

Sweet. :)
Output values of 0 or 1 is perfect.
Thanks!

Even better than perfect if Ctrl/Cmd & Shift acted as /2 & /4 dividers after the key was mapped, giving options of 1.0, 0.5, 0.25, 0.125 as the output value during performance.

That won't work because those keys trigger global keyboard shortcuts.
