Multi-select for "Keep Scene in Graphics Memory" etc

Post by Terry Payman »

If multiple scenes are selected in the folder view I would find it very useful to have options for the following:
- "Keep Scene in Graphics Memory"
- "Exclude Scene from Post Processing"
- "Rename Scene"

The present menu could be expanded, eg

Duplicate Selected
Save Selected To Project
Remove Selected

Keep Selected in Graphics Memory
Keep Only The Selected in Graphics Memory
Remove Selected from Graphics Memory
_____________________________________________
Exclude Scene from Post Processing
Include Scene in Post Processing
_____________________________________________
Rename Selected...

For rename, an incrementing numeric suffix would be automatically added to the specified "basename"

Sure those sound good. Lemme think about the Rename thing though, I'm not 100% sure about it yet.

My Use Case is when I'm developing a particular scene or experimenting with a new module.

I duplicate a scene if I get an effect I like, then try variations on the duplicate. I often leave renaming the scenes until later to avoid disturbing my creative flow, although this results in an ever-increasing length of perhaps misleading scene names.

When subsequently reviewing and organising the scenes into folders and sub-folders I wish to sequentially rename the individual scenes within each folder.
