loop in the audio/midi player

Post by skarabee »

While I was working on my latest projects, I often had to replay several times a part of my song to refine things. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Don't know if it can be done, but It could be useful to have loop points or start/end points in the audio/midifile player.

With option on video export to run (once) just between the audio loop points?

Yeah I guess it would make sense to have that option :).

i can see this being a bit tricky to playback to video and jpeg folders to be in sync with the current time position...

example, if the video start position is before the loop start point but you want the video playback to be as if it had already started--pre-rolled--before you reached the loop start point...did that make sense? :?

Yes, it will be tricky, and yes, what you said makes sense :).

Probably the best I'll be able to do is let you loop a particular scene or playlist entry, so that the issues you're describing aren't as prominent.
