Scene module: Retain folder structure when selecting a scene

Post by iglooooooo »

Currently when selecting a scene for the scene module, the window displays all scenes in the project without listing any of the folders or folder structure.

The Folder Panel organizes folders and sub-folders really nicely (one thing I love about MMV), but choosing a scene for the scene module can be a little difficult sometimes in projects with many scenes. (Like in projects where many scenes are used as components and subcomponents to build more intricate scenes).

It would be really helpful if this selection process displayed the folder names and folder structures somehow, instead of all the scenes thrown together.

Alternatively, this could also be accomplished if there was the ability to click and drag the desired scene from the leftside Folder Panel onto the workspace to create a scene module instance of that scene.

Ok, but the Search function makes it really easy to type just the first couple letters of the scene to add it.
