A couple tutorial videos

Derek Gee was kind enough to do a couple good video tutorials for Magic. They're a really nice way to get introduced to the general capabilities and workflow. Make sure to watch them in fullscreen mode so you can get all the HD detail.
Just a minor note on saving videos: You don't have to use any extra screen capture hardware or software to save your Magic videos. You can export them directly from Magic to .mp4 movie files, including audio. (Normally this will work without any extra configuration for most computers, but Derek's audio card required a bit of tweaking. Much love Derek :))

Regarding the VidCap module, as Derek mentioned: it's what you use to capture live video from a webcam or other capture device. A separate module, the Model module, is what you use to load 3D models (like what you might see in a video game).

Check out the Magic User's Guide (http://magicmusicvisuals.com/downloads/ ... Guide.html) for a detailed description of all the modules and features. Any questions, please let me know.

Also, be sure to subscribe to Derek's YouTube channel, and thank him if you get the chance.

Eric

Here's a new video from Derek. It focuses on a few specific things, including some of the new modules in v1.6.
