How about an archive with the earlier releases of Magic? Perhaps not the installer, just a zip (like those supplied for beta testing).
This would facilitate backup of projects so that they could be run with exactly the same behaviour as when created.
I love the bug-fixes but I now regret deleting some earlier versions as I have projects that seem subtly wrong/different when run with the latest
eg I rarely understood the previous behaviour of DepthTest, and never understood my apparently arbitrary workarounds.
Now some of my old projects have problems that look DepthTest related, although I think there are additional issues.
BTW, will the multiple-instance facility of Magic work if the simultaneous versions are not the same?

Thanks, I've thought about this. It does pose some challenges, but I'll do my best to come up with something.
