Midi controller causing audio bug?

Hey! First time poster here, been using Magic for about a year and i finally got around to getting a midi controller, for live use. But as i plug in my Midi controller (Akai lpd8, so nothing fancy) the audio from the playback stops. It works fine as a controller but the audio won't play. I can't find anywhere to check the audio output path either. I've tried restarting magic, creating new projects, and changing the inputs and loading in different sources. The playback won't play, while i have my midi controller plugged in. Any help?

It is best to have all midi (and audio) hardware plugged in before starting Magic. You can make this more flexible/stable using a virtual midi port. Perhaps a related issue that I have experienced, if I have Bluetooth headphones disconnect while using magic, the play head moves (quickly) but plays nothing. I must restart magic to get audio out again.
