How do you make perfect loops say ( 30 seconds) long?
I want to stay in Magic please
What is the recipe does anyone know, its past my math comprehension.
I am really close to a perfect 30 second clip, I have a skinny rectangle and a marker above it and my expression chain is as follows:
Increase = .0325
Wrap = 1.0
I am like a half second ahead or behind when I run my loop in resolume there is a slight glitch, when the play head returns to zero.
Thanks in advance.
I searched in the forum, I don't think I missed something.
THE PURRRFECT LOOP
Re: THE PURRRFECT LOOP
An increase of 1 means +1 per second.
An increase of 2 means +1 per 1/2 second.
An increase of .5 means +1 per 2 seconds.
As you can probably guess, the formula for the increase value is 1/(number of seconds).
So in your case, 1/30 = 0.03333333333....
Magic only lets you use four decimal places so try .0333.
If that isn't exact enough, you can do:
Expression: 1/30
Increase: 0
Which will use exactly 1/30 for the increase.

Re: THE PURRRFECT LOOP
Thank you sir, I am still shaky on the abstraction of the expression modifier, its going to open up so much more, I will be uploading perfect loops now thank you sir
