On the Audio/MIDI window imported audiofiles can't play.
I push the play button, but the time bar does NOT go forward.
It is still 00:00.0.

Play button not working on Yosemite
Re: Play button not working on Yosemite
Hmm, I don't think it has to do with Yosemite specifically. We've tested playback on all our Yosemite machines.
It seems more like a sound card issue. What device are you using for sound output in System Preferences? Try your internal speakers if that's not what you have selected. Let me know if it helps.

Re: Play button not working on Yosemite
I'm using Presonus AudioBox 22 VSL.
I tried to change the Audio System Preferences.
Built-in audio input and output works fine.
No problem to use Magic.
But when I change the input and output to AudioBox, play button does not work.
Curiously I change the audio input of the top pull down to the built in mic,
then restart Magic, the play button works fine ,sounding over AudioBox but with cracking noise when start and stop.
Starting Magic with selecting AudioBox input is fail to play audio files.
It may be the hardware or CoreAudio issue.

Re: Play button not working on Yosemite
Ok, thanks. It might be some setting for that specific Presonus device. We've tested Magic with many external sound cards and they have all worked properly (so far), but we haven't tested with that one unfortunately.
One thing you might want to do is check what sample rate your sound card is set to. Open the Audio MIDI Setup application, and try selecting 44100 or 48000. See if that helps.
