animate/highlight a shape in a background?

Post by hsteph »

Greetings,

Started the eval version of the software and liked the concept & workflow. Smart features !
Just wondering what would be the best strategy to 'animate' the pads and knobs of this B&W picture ?

Should I extract the portion of the picture I want to animate as a separate picture, apply some effects, and blend with the background ?

I also want to highlight some shapes (the knobs) witht a color line, ...

Inputs welcome !

Thanks

Stéphane

I would create a white 2d grid of squares for the pads and use that as a mask for any effect or video. You could do the same for the knobs, but I'd be tempted to model (one of) those in blender and animate them in Magic.
