modifiers for waveform

Post by mickjagger »

Hello, I learned from the tutorial how to apply modifiers to modules. Nice. Waveforms, however, have a translation (movement) already included. Is there a way to apply a modifier to this movement?

Thanks much!

I'm not sure what you mean by translation and movement in the Waveform module, but you can certainly use modifiers.

I found it too tricky to get a good screengrab of the result, but it's certainly useful.
I played around with the following arrangement.

Ok, thanks. I did see those modifications in the waveform module. What I am not seeing is a modification to the waveform itself like the = options on the translate or scale links....

Specifically, I am looking for things like threshold and smoothness like on the spectrum module....

Those things don't really apply to a waveform, which is why they're not options.

You might want to try using the Trails module after the Waveform module, it gives a more subtle look.
