need help with audio and midi inputs

Upon loading, Magic says cannot access microphone. Also my midi is not available. So in the input sources window, I do not see an option to choose microphone or my midi controller. Do I have a setting somewhere wrong on my mac? (It works fine on my older mac)

Not sure. Is it the built in mic? I’ve never heard of a problem with that. Also what MIDI device is it?

I find with my midi i have to unplug and plug it back in a few times, but that is worh every program I use it with so might just be me
