Magic Music Visuals

I have used the video capture module in Magic Music Visuals to great effect simply using relatively cheap webcams. However, I want greater control over and higher quality. I have therefore installed utility software on my laptop to control my Canon EOS 600D camera and receive a live feed. Is there a way of getting the live video stream from my canon into Magic Music Visuals?

The Video Capture module has a drop-down list for video signals. The various webcams that I have attached or inbuilt on the laptop are all recognized and available, however, I have no entry in the dropdown list for my DSLR camera.

Try the VideoCaptureDS (Win) or VideoCaptureQT (macOS) modules. They're more advanced and usually have better compatibility with specialized devices.
