Stop evaluation of Playback Time after Power on.

Post by pyc »

I use Playback Time internal with a help of expression to regulate the state of Power parameter of a module, but as my scene is pretty complicated, and I want to turn off constant evaluation of Playback Time once the module has been powered on. Any way I can achieve that?

Not sure I'm understanding. If the Expression modifier outputs a 1 to the Power parameter, the power will be on.

Yes, the power will be on, that is alright but I see Playing Time is constantly evaluated afterwards which uses CPU for no good need. That's why I asked if somehow that can be turned off.

The CPU utilization for something like that is minuscule, especially when compared to all the other things happening on your computer. If you’re concerned about your CPU then you should spend time disabling unnecessary programs and OS features.

Think I already optimized my system in that sense.... And it may not be miniscule in my case because it's x5, and also I want to do bypasses at least for 5x at different place....
