Hello folks,

Been on Magic for a month and loving it.
I have a frustration with RotateAxis that I could use your help with.

Have two images that I want to rotate in opposite directions and when facing forward, pause then return the other way.
So
Image 1.
Y-axis
Source -
Ramp 0.05
Sine Osc 0.2

Image 2.
Y-axis
Source -
Ramp 0.05
Invert 1.0
Sine Osc 0.2

My problem is to synchronise the modules. I want them pausing and facing forward at the same time.
Ctrl + E works for both going clockwise, but won't do it, since the starting Angle value would not be the same.
Can someone please tell me what I'm missing from the features or elsewhere please? I can't work it out.

Many thanks in advance.
Liksu

If I'm understanding correctly, then you don't need Ramp. Just Sine Osc by itself, and then Invert if you want to invert one.

10 points! Nailed it in one, Thanks Eric!!!!!
It was the speed of the rotation that was influenced by sine, but I can live without the variation in order to have them sync'd

The Y-axis rotates around the centre of the image, why not x and z and how is that achieved?

I think you want to change the Axis parameter?
