OBJ Sequence Animation?

Hello guys,

First of all, thank you for this amazing software.

My question is, Magic is compatible with most of the 3D object formats. But I want to bring 3D animations into my scene.
So my first option is fbx, but it seems like Magic is not supporting the format, so I am wondering if OBJ Sequence works?
Or what option do I have to bring my animated obj.s or Autodesk Maya animations?

from my understanding, magic does not support animated meshes from any 3D file format...short of rendering to a video or still image sequences, i do not know of any work-around to bring in such meshes...

Yes, unfortunately the Model module doesn't support animation right now, but it is something we are working on.

I've used an inputSelector and multiple OBJ files to do simple "flipbook" style animation. Works pretty good with simple models, even if it is resource intensive.

It's how I animated Trump and Putin in this piece (2-frame animations were all I needed for this project): https://vimeo.com/221618926#t=89s
