2.11b - Inadvertent module reset

Post by Terry Payman »

I often inadvertently reset a module when I'm trying to copy it, which can be very disruptive to my design process if I don't realise that this has happened!

I'm sure I must be a bit too click-happy when I'm copying, but please restrict the reset functionality to a left-button double-click.

Sure that's no problem.

Thanks Eric for the right-mouse button fix in V2.11 :D

Reigel observed that a minimised module will reset if double-clicked
(Minimise/Maximise Modules viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1461#p6791 para 2)

Further, I notice that a minimised module will reset if left-clicked to restore, then clicked again soon afterwards. The click that restores it is counted as the first of a double click.

I would be very grateful for a fix for these remaining two unwanted reset behaviours.

EDIT: Perhaps additionally, a (persistent) option to disable the double-click reset feature, plus a context-menu reset option. Personally I would rather avoid the risk of an inadvertent reset than have the occasional convenience of a double-click reset.

Yes, it seems like double-clicking might not be the best solution for resetting the module. I'll see if I can work in some fixes/improvements for the next version.
