Hi,
I'm trying to use some virtual cameras with magic ( with the Vidcap module) but magic does not find it. for exemple Dxtory ( http://exkode.com/dxtory-features-en.html ) with directshow output , or SCFH DSF ( http://mosax.sakura.ne.jp/yp4g/fswiki.cgi?page=SCFH+DSF) here is an english tutorial http://koitsu.wordpress.com/2009/09/12/ ... e-scfh-dsf.
I tested it on windows 7 64 bits with the 1.5 version ( 32 bits).
these virtual cameras appears on the list with all my other softwares ( tracking software, resolume etc) . there is a solution , using manycam with Vidcap , wich appears as manycam Virtual webcam , and choose the virtual webcam as an input in manycam
Virtual camera does not appear
Re: Virtual camera does not appear
Unfortunately, at this point, the Windows version of Magic might not support certain capture devices, especially if they are based on DirectShow (which is an older technology). So ManyCam is a good choice for now.
We are hoping to improve the compatibility of VidCap in the future, so stay tuned .

Re: Virtual camera does not appear
thanks a lot for the answer Eric ! this could be a common issue for users, it will be great to have the native support, but there is an alternative with manycam.
