how to connect an ip camera in adition to built in cameras

Post by rai »

Gentlemen,
Do we have a system in Magic for connecting with ip cameras and how can I acquire it. This feature would enhance my reach and facilitate my art work. I appreciate your help and thank you for your suggestions. Sincerely, Rainer Kohlwald.

Hi Rainer, I recommend you try the program ManyCam (http://manycam.com/), which I found out about from this user's post (http://magicmusicvisuals.com/forums/vie ... p?f=2&t=15). It works well with Magic using its virtual webcam driver, and is compatible with many devices.

See this page specifically for using IP cams with ManyCam: http://manycam.com/help/ipcam

Let me know if that helps.

The IP webcam feature in manycam works great. They even have an app so you can connect your phone and use that camera as an input.

If you want to get rid of the watermark without going pro, you have to install 4.0.78, and then deselect "Show Manycam logo" under the Text tab. Thats the last free version they put out with that option.
