Copy/Paste Scene

Post by BaconMKII »

I recently made a project with several scenes dealing with midi mapping, but later ended up experimenting with something unrelated and filled up my project with lots of other scenes. Would it be possible to include a "copy scene" feature to make it easier to move scenes into a new project?

Hmm, I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but the following functionalities are available:

1) You can copy all the modules in the current scene with Edit > Select All; then just close the project, open a new one, and paste them;

2) Or, you can import a project (File > Import Project) which merges all of its scenes into the current project;

3) Or, you can save the project as a new version, then delete the unwanted scenes. (You can delete multiple scenes at once by right-clicking a tab and selecting "Remove all scenes to the left/right".)

Does that help?

Aha!

I was using the first method which was a bit tedious but it didn't occur to me to try the other two. Way easier. :lol:
Thanks!
