Very enjoyable and uplifting - and some lovely effects. I feel much happier for having watched - many thanks for posting artnik! A trivial point, but I would prefer if the moving starfield in the opening scenes was obscured by the planets. Otherwise I don't understand its scale and origin. WRT the l...

Re: Odd behaviour with FFGL plugin

This one was extra-weird. Just having the plugin connected to the same Magic scene output was enough. I Even had one object getting wider, two narrower ( with an earlier version of the project. VideoFile widened, polygons got narrower. All I wanted was a dropshadow on some text!

Odd behaviour with FFGL plugin

Not Magic's problem, but I thought it might be of interest as the attached project's behavior is so odd if the Resolume DropShadow module is enabled and the first scene's output is passed through a Resolution module in the second scene. https://resolume.com/software/tools With Magic set to Custom Re...

Text module - X (& Y) translation before alignment

Say I have some text that I wish to place in the bottom left of the screen. I use the Text module followed by the Translate module. Generally when I change the text string I must also change the X Translation, and it's difficult to maintain a consistent left start position. The utility of the Text M...

Well, if you remove a directory and thus delete some project assets, the project will be broken... isn't this true for any application? OK, but in the case of the "built-in" GLSLShader files the project breaks if one simply changes to a later Magic version from a beta, having deleted the ...

User-specified search order for text files etc

My porting of projects between Magic versions and different computers would be hugely facilitated if I could specify a search path for GLSLShader files, images etc. My major projects have their assets Collected, but I want to browse others, which are generally broken. I agree that the video is not out of sync. The lower diamond shapes that come in with the bass at 0:23 have no lag to my eye. However, I sense definite lag with the two upper shapes, apparently the exact latency issue I wished to correct by offsetting the audio. https://magicmusicvisuals.com/forums/...

Permit feedback around a series of modules

I love feedback, and it would be really cool if I could take the output of a series of modules ( say Scale--RotateAxis--HueSaturation) and feed that back into a summing input. Perfect for custom Trail-like effects.

Magic won't let me do this at present. :(

Any chance? Please!
