Re: Using MIDI to toggle a module parameter on/off
OSC is exactly the same if using a momentary control. Though Touch OSC has momentary, toggle-press and toggle-release options. With either toggle option you don't need any additional modifiers.

If you're using any sort of time based process) that relies only on a momentary input, (such as Micro Buffer RGB) and use an input selector (many > 1), you will instantly cut the output off when selecting a different input ...

Re: midi configuration for playlist
I found, I had to use the Korg's midi configuration software so that the key wouldn't be in momentary but in toggle function.
Thank you for your answer which allowed me to look at the configuration of the Korg and not the Magic.
This software is awesome and I'm totally newbie with it.

Re: InputSelector only cycling between 0 and 1?
What controller are you using? - it is the controller that is likely configured as a latch and there's nothing you can do in Magic to change that. You may be able to configure the controller though. You want to set the button as momentary.

Re: midi strangeness with playlist forward/back
I don't see the skipping issue anywhere else. Every other function I can pin midi to via the Korg seems to respond correctly to the command messages. Buttons function properly as momentary and or toggles depending on setting.

Re: midi strangeness with playlist forward/back
I can switch the modes on the Korg. I haven't tried it yet since everything else was working fine. It was the fact that it works properly as a momentary and or a toggle everywhere else that boggled me.

MIDI Note On/Off/Velocity
When mapping switches -e.g bypass, power or anything with a check box, Magic responds to both note on and note off signals making the button a momentary instead of a toggle. I don't know if there is a current solution within Magic, in the past I have used Midi-ox to filter note-off messages unfortunately ...

Using MIDI to toggle a module parameter on/off
