For instance, I am using Ableton as a looper for my instruments. I have 8 channels in ableton which are essentially loop banks. I would love to be able to route a signal from each of those individual tracks for use as an audio source in MMV.

This somehow all worked. Audio comes from my hard drive, goes through my S5 sound card, out to my Soundcraft 12 MTK, back to MMV, then A/V goes to OBS, then through FB live right to your face. Thanks Eric! I didnt know I could use "If" statements in the expression field. That makes this much more handleable, and also much more powerful!

This is a tremendous insight into how to implement certain things. As someone who doesnt like to read manuals or anything before getting hands on, this provides an excellent template for reverse-engineering some things.

Like the title says, this is the first thing I did in MMV. It's not fancy, and I slapped it together in only a couple hours. It'll give me something to look back on when I get way better at this.

Just discovered that there is, in fact, a copy/paste option for selected modules. This is essentially what I needed, combined with the scene save. Thank you Eric for dealing with all the noobie BS I've thrown your way.

Just figured it out -

Step set to .1
Expression 10x

makes the knob range 1-10 in intervals of 1

So midi pots by default will not surpass 1.0 at full send. What is a simple expression or combination of modules I can use to make my pot (normally sending 0 - 1.0) send from 1 to 10? I assume I'll use the step feature set to 1.0 but how can I set the range from 1-10?

Ah yes! reset window positions is exactly what I wish I was able to find on my own! sorry to waste your time on this. The reason I want to drag it then fullscreen it is because it would still be on top of the modules, alas i now see that this can be changed too.

I have the Traktor Kontrol S5 available as an option in the input devices menu. When I hookup the S5 hardware and run sound through it, I am getting no signal in Magic from the L/R sources. Any steps I'm missing?
