I tried to load a 4.5 hour audio file in Magic as an input source and it crashes every time. The same holds true for flac, wav, and even a 65mb 32k bitrate mp3 file. The crash dump was too large to post here, so I put it here : https://pastebin.com/raw/VyYG76W2 :!: Also, I didn't realize that ...

Aye, I am aware of having MIDI parameter control in Performer... but this is only for live performances.
Being able to produce a video as if producing a song by being able to save the midi performances to graphical timelines that can be edited is what I am after.

I'd love to be able to use the raw audio I input directly in the Magic output video. For example, I use a FLAC file as the input audio, place that FLAC directly inside of the mp4 container Magic renders. I removed the custom ISF folder I had Magic pointed to and also rebooted. Things seem to be back to normal. It was no exaggeration with 5 minutes, I literally timed it to around 5m30s to startup previously. Not sure why, but it now scans the same custom ISF folder and starts up almost immediately. :?

It would be nice to have a "Cross Dissolve" transition with a variable 0.000 -> 1.000 overlap for looping video files. Currently, when a video is not made specifically for looping, you get a hard cut at the loop point. Adding a simple cross dissolve transition (the default transition in Fi...

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how you are fading between the various shaders in Magic? I suspect this is achieved with playlists, but also, you could be setting keyframes somehow to morph the variables in each shader.

FFT Color Lines and Spectrum need granularity
Both the FFT Color Lines and the Spectrum modules would benefit from an option to specify the number of lines each module generates. Currently, they both seem to be fixed at 10 lines. I would love this to be an integer option that I can change from 1-3840 (@4K resolution ~ 1 line per pixel). Thoughts?

I guess comments in shaders are interpreted literally by Magic which is kinda weird.
Also, uniform must be a semantic keyword / reserved word?
I really need to get beyond level one in GLSL so I can hack together effects more easily.

Simply taking the shadertoy into a text file and loading it in Magic is guaranteed to crash the app entirely.
