Re: Something a little different
Wow! Absolutely mind-blown you did this all in MMV, especially the transforming effect center screen @ 2:30. I can tell you're having fun ;P love the music as well, keep on keeping on!

Toggle On/Off for nodes
Anyone have a solution for allowing a midi button to toggle nodes on/off without having to hold it down?
For example, having the city lights ISF on a scene be bypassed with the press of a button.
Advice greatly appreciated.

Re: Synchronizing Video Modules (newbie's question...)
My solution to this problem (if I'm understanding your problem correctly.) Is to use: Step A In globals panel (ctrl + shift + L) 1. add global 2. link global (two rings button on right side of node) 3. set link to "no source" 4. add "feature" (equals button on global node) "...

Re: Lag with seamless loops
I am making the loops in Blender. I just tried rendering in mov and mkv containers using H.264 codec and its the same deal. I also see what you mean with it being the same in VLC. Does Magic's VideoFile node work off of VLC's code? I dug around on some VLC forums and it's been a known issue in VLC f...

Re: Lag with seamless loops
Eric,
I've discovered that adding in duplicate frames to the beginning or end of the loop (about 4 duplicates) results in a perfect loop. I've updated the folder with an example.

Thanks for the quick reply Eric. Here's a google drive folder with a loop, magic scene, and Premiere render:

Re: Lag with seamless loops
Also to note I haven't done anything with the scene it's simply a default videofile input node linked to the output and rendered.

Lag with seamless loops
Hi there, I'm having issues getting my videos to loop seamlessly in Magic. I've had success looping videos in the past so initially I thought it was a problem with the source content, however, I now believe the issue is the "videofile" input node. This is a loop rendered in Magic, notice t...

Yo dude, glad you found the program and are enjoying it! It really is a good time! To help answer your question I have no issues getting full HD quality on youtube with my renders using the standard export settings, the only change I make is changing the resolution from 1280 x 720 to 3840 x 2160 (4k...

Thanks for enjoying phosphorus! Sadler, the transitions were achieved by me listening to the track and taking note of major changes and manipulating the timing of the playlist through trail and error to get it to line up. However, my intention behind this video was to demo the lil cube with a couple...

Re: Visual orchestration with a pinch of filth
Dude, this is SEXY! I super fw your style. One recommendation I have (bc I encountered this same thing) is if you want movements to stop the jagged back and fourth movements: change the source of the translate nodes to "no source" and slap a snie osc. or ramp on that ish. Keep it up homie,...
