Re: midi - playlist - prev & next entry midi mapping not wor

I had this issue with the NanoK2. The only commands I had issues with were the playlist too. I was using the Nano2's Marker Arrow Keys < > I think it is tripping on both on and off commands. I solved it by going into Korg Controller and swapping the Note channels to Control channels. Also, set them ...

Beta 'Text' question

I love the beta Line# feature for 'TextFile' module,
however I cannot input more than one line of text into the 'Text' (not 'TextFile' module).
Hitting enter closes the Text field, and cutting and pasting separate lines in, turns into one line,
so I am curious why it has a new Line# field as well.

Re: Starfield and Depthtest?

I'm going to suggest what I assume is impossible, Could it have respective multiple outputs for each input? (I don' think I have seen a module work that way) Is there any way to modify the separate inputs once IN the field to get around not being able to depthtest with multiple starfields? ie: 2 out...

Re: Starfield and Depthtest?

I see. I love the new starfield, Btw. Also, Seeing as starfield does take multiple inputs, but they are both contained in the same 'star', Would it be possible to modify the starfield module to give multiple inputs their own stars within the field? If so, it would be good to have as a selectable fun...

Re: limiting frames

I was wondering about that last night while watching my output slow to 7fps due to an overload.
I liked the effect. :)
Thanks! :D

Starfield and Depthtest?

I cannot get two starfields to work with DepthTest, can it?
I tried a bunch of stuff but the starfield on top is still just overlayed on the second one.
I'd like them to respect each other's space... :)
Is that possible or no?
Thanks!

Re: MIDI clock from audio

I just picked up AudioBoxBaby the other day. Freeware. https://www.bigfug.com/software/audiobox/ It is the only one I've used so, It works better than nothing, that is all I know. :) Seems a bit loose sometimes. It does not have a 'stop on silence' attribute, so the bpm keeps going during silence. A...

Re: Crosshatch appears when CUTting and Copying any module.

Nope. It seemed to happen around the time I added another... hold on a sec... folder of modules. I just found out what was doing it, Thank you.... I had a folder titled 'ISFcollection' in Modules2\ISF\Generator. I moved it to desktop and Magic seems clear of the issue, so then I renamed it 'collecti...

Crosshatch appears when CUTting and Copying any module.

For the last few days, I have noticed some buggyness with 2.12. When I CUT a module, a '002 Crosshatch' module appears out of nowhere, connected to nothing but with an input leash that is attached to the background as if stuck to an invisible output. If I COPY a module a 'v002 Dilate' pops into the ...

Re: Spout receiver 64 bit

I installed the SpoutReceiver FFGL plugin, which I can only find in 32-bit (SpoutReceiver2.dll). It does not show up in Magic 64. SpoutController.dll placed in the same directory (modules>special), Does show up- but seems to do nothing. I've seen links to a 64bit version of SpoutReceiver, but everyt...

Re: Spout receiver 64 bit

I'm rocking the Intel HD4000 on a Intel i7 3770 chip. I started switching the settings around after the crash. (Using Texture does not work with Madrix and Resolume, cpu and shared do.) I am looking at getting a 1060gtx soon, but since all other programs seem to function fine Receiving spout I am as...

Re: Spout receiver 64 bit

Let me start over. :) Spout works great Outgoing from Magic(64bit). When a Spout source is running, and I open SpoutReceiver in Magic, Magic crashes. SpoutReciver in Magic will open with no source, but once a source is started, Magic crashes upon Sender selection. Spout DX modes are Dx9, Buffer on, ...

Re: Spout receiver 64 bit

I have spout working Outgoing from Magic fine. I cannot get it to Receive without crash. I've looked for a 64bit receiver plugin, but am led to links via the spout forums that no longer exist. I tried loading magic in 32bit via program properties to test, which prompted me to re-license the program....

Re: midi strangeness with playlist forward/back

I don't see the skipping issue anywhere else. Every other function I can pin midi to via the Korg seems to respond correctly to the command messages. Buttons function properly as momentary and or toggles depending on setting.

Re: midi strangeness with playlist forward/back

I can switch the modes on the Korg. I haven't tried it yet since everything else was working fine. It was the fact that it works properly as a momentary and or a toggle everywhere else that boggled me.

midi strangeness with playlist forward/back

I can trigger playlist forward and backwards just fine via midi and a CmdTouch 64. When I use a Korg nanoKontrol2, it triggers on both the press, and release- forwarding and or reversing 2 scenes. First midi data is the CMD, the second 2 lines are the Korg. 459731 3 -- 144 108 127 1 C 8 Note On 4598...

Re: Assign a MIDI button to each input on Input Selector

I'm glad you posted this. I've been wondering the same but it has been on the back burner. I just found you may use bypass/toggle on Offsets. After choosing learn bypass, the menu will show Toggle. You have to mind what is toggled however, as multi toggles are possible. (there is likely a better way...
