Videofile CPU overload
Hi, When I use the Videofile module with 4K video clips, the computer's CPU goes bonkers and everything lags. I tried with a 1080 video, that works fine. I'm running Windows 10, my specs are: i7-7700 CPU 16GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Samsung external T7 SSD's via USB 3.1 Is it still too heavy ...

Re: "Missing" files - referring to incorrect location
That's exactly what I wantEric wrote:Yes, Save As would be better.
Collect Assets also copies all your asset files to the project folder, I'm not sure that's what you want.

Re: "Missing" files - referring to incorrect location
Project assets are stored relative to the project file. Maybe you moved your project file to a different location after saving it? It's hard for me to say what's going on, but if this was a bug there would probably be a lot of other people letting me know. So it makes me think the issue is specific...

Re: "Missing" files - referring to incorrect location
Not sure. What is the exact path of your assets? Maybe there is some issue with the pathname. The path is D:\EXPORT\Chris Freeq\Beats\4 SALE\2018\Chris_Freeq-At_This_Moment_TAGGED.mp3 The path MMV is claiming it should be is D:\VISUAL PROJECTS\EXPORT\Chris Freeq\Beats\4 SALE\2018\Chris_Freeq-At_Thi...

"Missing" files - referring to incorrect location
Hi. I have an issue where an existing project says that files are missing, even though they're still located in the same place. On the dialog, they directory referred to is a place where I never have stored audio, so I think it might be a possible bug... I did move some graphics that were used, but ...

Auto-advance is buggin' out...
Hi. I'm experiencing an issue (I'm guessing it's an issue since it hasn't been like this before) in Magic. I've setup a few scenes, and entered timecode for them to auto-advance. But they don't advance when they should! Example: Scene 1 starts at 0. Scene 2 starts at 18.5 sec. But everytime I playba...

Playlist advance in BPM
Hi. I don't know if this has already been suggested, but it would be awesome to have the playlist being able to advance by beats and bars as an alternative to timecode. So you could just enter a BPM, and set a scene for 2 bars, and iot would change after 2 bars. It would also be a goiod thing to hav...

Re: Error: "No audio output device is available."
Ok, I understand ;) . You should still try selecting a different (non-ASIO) input device in Magic though, because the input device might be blocking the output device. https://magicmusicvisuals.com/downloads/Magic_UsersGuide.html#SelectingAnAudioDevice Also, make sure to restart Magic afterwards. T...

Re: Error: "No audio output device is available."
Hi Eric.
Thanks for your reply, but my main issue is that I can't get playback in Magic. I only have one soundcard that I use; I would like to keep the internal card uninstalled due to complications with other applications. So Magic occupying my driver isn't that big of a deal.

Error: "No audio output device is available."
Hi. I just installed Magic, and have barely started working on a project. Everything was running smoothy the first day, but since day 2, I keep getting this error: "No audio output device is available. Please make sure your system sound is configured properly." All other applications are a...
