The Loch Ness Monster

I am using MMV to liven up the photos used in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nd43hfF3vPs I know MMV isn't a video-FX tool, but it's really very good at that :) All the 'moving' parts are made in MMV and then overlaid on the photos in Davinci Resolve. Only the text-scroll is made in Davi...

Re: Oscilloscope music? Can it be done?

Thanks :)

Yes, that one I already had a look at.

I was just hoping to move it into MMV for added flexibility and to perhaps extend/mix the effect further :)

Oscilloscope music? Can it be done?

I just stumbled across something called 'oscilloscope music'... That is; music that draws pictures on an oscilloscope when setup in a specific way. Here's an example (And this does indeed work with an oscilloscope) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnL40CbuodU Here's a technical explanation: https://w...

Re: Movie export problem

I exported now a AVI file from virtual dub imported it to my video editor ( Magix video pro ) and exported it from there as MPEG . The result was ok. As i said I´m not very familiar wit...

Look for nodes such as Mask, Luma key, Blend mode.

Re: Suggestion: reset button on nodes

I copy any node before messing with it just to be able to use Replace it to Reset, without going back to default. It's also handy to paste another copy down to compare values. I'll often route both through an Input Selector to A/B test. Hmm, copying it is an interesting work-method :) So you kind o...

Re: Suggestion: reset button on nodes

I agree that it's a good idea. Unfortunately we're not adding any new features for this release (to ensure maximum stability), but I will certainly put it on my to-do list for the future. I don't know if I can fit another button in the module title bar area, but maybe a keyboard shortcut would work...

Re: Suggestion: reset button on nodes

Yes, but that only resets a single value, not the entire node. You can just replace the node and all params will reset. Thanks, I didn't know about that one :) A dedicated reset-button is still on my wish-list though (it would be a tad faster when your building and experimenting with settings and w...

Thanks for the suggestion :)
Yes, but that only resets a single value, not the entire node.

Suggestion: reset button on nodes

This is just an idea :) When you play around with certain nodes, say the translate-node for example, or the scale-node, I would like a reset-option that can be selected when I right-click the node so that all settings can quickly be reset back to their start-values. I'm thinking this is an easy way ...
