Personal Purgatory/Therapy via the latest Beta

Had to get back into create-some-shit mode to redirect insane energies assailing me in the form of a 21 year old girl, kinda sorta wish it was just me and my creative process, alone and unencumbered, like a few months ago. Etc., etc., oh i shall cease crying this river now-- [ https://youtu.be/ks7Rh...

Re: Questions about laptop software

Follow-up question: I might initially have a small SSD drive to be later expanded, is it practical to put my visual stuff for use in Magic on a USB 3.0 stick, put into a 3.0 drive? Is that fast enough? Like small videos, images, audio. Trying to work with a perilously limited budget here.

Re: Questions about laptop software

I was gonna ask something similar so I'll just add to your question, what are the most important specs for doing Magic-type work on a Windows laptop, like what should I count as critical needs whilst doing my shopping? I know 12-16 gigs of RAM is a minimum, and probably one of those gaming-type grap...

A Brief Thank-You

So I got Textmachine 3d recently to supplement my work in Magic, and while it's definitely good at what it does, importing videos and photos and models is extremely limited in terms of file types, meaning I have to convert pretty much all my stuff before bringing it into TM. Which makes me doubly gr...

Re: New way of requesting features.

Now that I think of it, I don't recall any crashes or wonky shenanigans the whole time I've used Magic. So nicely done.

Magic as iPad Software

Just wondering if the developers have ever considered putting Magic or something similar on iOS. VJ software comes up fairly regularly on the Audiobus forum and I notice we are all hankering for a real Magic-style equivalent for our ipads. Hopefully you'll get a few new customers as I was promoting ...

Re: Using Magic: The First Two Weeks

I have maybe two or three hundred short videos/animations that I've made on my ipad over the last year, and Magic has been the missing element to bring them all into a higher state of usefulness. My computer is developing asthma though with all this video processing going on.

Using Magic: The First Two Weeks

Here's a playlist of 5 videos, working my way thru Magic, two weeks in. Really taking me far beyond my video capabilities previously, it's got me coming around back to where I started with music, making it primarily as video soundtracks. Next on the agenda is to learn how to make my own shaders/ISF/...
