Refracture & Masking - Variations of a Theme

Hey everybody, here's a video that contains my latest attempts in MMV, creating and supporting a certain mood based on a simple idea, here the Metropolis symbolism and a photo of a toy mechanism. Hope you like it and get some new ideas and inspiration for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo...

Re: jpg folder masking vs png folder

I second that, transparent .png folders/sequences would be great and I was surprised that it's not possible. Is there some technical reason for it?

That's great to hear. Importing single scenes would be great!

Re: Small Bug when choosing Fonts for Text module

Hi Eric, it's 358 fonts on my system. (Way too many and I honestly have no idea where they're all coming from). Obviously some Pinball simulator I installed years ago added a few..... but nothing with strange names or strange characters or an extra long name. I tried to 'blend out' a few, especially...

Small Bug when choosing Fonts for Text module

Hi, I'm experiencing a bug that translated from 1.64 to 1.65 when choosing fonts in the drop down menu of a text module. All fonts between 'Ch' and 'Hi' wont be displayed and are not accessible. Re: Simple Animations and Layering examples

Thank you very much, guys :-) Yes, the text masking options are pretty awesome and by themselves already worth the program. You simply change the font and / or the picture for the mask and you get a whole effect. I's especially interesting if you're using non rectangular shapes or pictures for the '...

Re: SYNTHESIZED (Making Magic SING!)

Fantastic!! I really like how you develop the inital idea further and further and keep the style throughout the whole track! I find this the hardest thing and you did a really great job without repeating too much or getting boring. Great work!

Re: Using Magic: The First Two Weeks

Wow, impressive! Many really nice ideas in there. And yes, really looks like MMV was the missing link to bring all that stuff together. Thumbs up!! Great work!

Re: Simple Animations and Layering examples

Not quite a children story yet, but after only a few weeks I already have enough material for advertising one of my children background songs. Love that masking feature for the text effects. Simply by changing the font and putting any other picture into the mask you can easily make very nice text ef...

Simple Animations and Layering examples

Hey everybody :-) I was searching for a program to do simple animations with and came across MMV. What a great program, easy to understand, stable, and soooo much fun to play around with! Here's a little animation I made using transparent PNGs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXMFFRvWnOQ Still tryin...
