That would definitely be a welcome add Eric! At the moment it is not working at all with my BMD card... Thanks!

Well done Sadler! Love the look of it and the way it reacts to the different frequencies... Inspiring : )

Re: Backmagic Design capture cards not working

Just got the equipment up and running, after a shorter break from our rehearsals... The problem seem to be that I can't select the right frame rate. The capture card does show up in Magic. But the frame is just black. In both Black syphon, Isadora and Resolume I have the option to select different f...

Re: Backmagic Design capture cards not working

Thanks for that info Eric! Yes Im a Mac user...

I'll check it out as soon as I have the setup in front of me again (just got out of a quite hectic production, where I ended up using Black Syphon as a work around). And I'll get back on this matter with more tests. Have a great weekend :D

Backmagic Design capture cards not working

I have a few different BMD capture cards, the Ultriastudio 4K, Ultrastudio 3D and some Ultrastudio Mini recorders. Unfortunately the only one that is working at the moment seem to be the Mini recorders... The other two, they just don't show up as a source. Anyone else having this issue? Could this b...

ISF as transition

Hi all! I just bought the ISF for Motion app from Vidvox. They have managed to turn ISF's into transitions in Final cut pro X and Motion. With that in mind I'd love to have a similar functionality, to be able to change the current - None, Crossfade and Additive Dissolve to different ISF's as a trans...

Re: Reload video file

Sure thing Eric. I completely understand your point. I use Resolume for mapping, working with Pixel tape, running all sorts of live cameras. But apart from Resolume I use an array of programs that are collaborating to create the effects or interactions im after... But I truly love the way your progr...

Re: Reload video file

Ok. I see. Well I'm really looking forward to the moment we have the possibility to OSC map everything : ) As I've said before, it will open up possibilities for us creators that can't be figured out in forehand... I actually got it much cleaner by simply having two videos and sending OSC positions ...

Re: Reload video file

Exactly. We will replace the video file during the show. The case is that we have one longer video with a lot of different parts In it. So that the starting point of the video is different but the file is the same. And we create a new video with the audience in every show. That's why we need to relo...

Reload video file

Hi there Magic wizards forum... I have a new show in the creation. And Im using magic to fire one video file, but at different positions and with different masks. Skärmavbild 2019-09-24 kl. 17.32.54.png I want to be able to replace the file with a new one and be able to play them at with all the dif...

Re: NDI Input

I bought the Magewell Pro Converter HDMI TX and the Pro Converter HDMI 4K Plus. I bought the HDMI versions to have other camera options in the future... But Magewell converters work like a charm : ) They even double up as a network device over usb.

Re: NDI Input

Hey Terry! At the moment we are using two Blackmagic Design cameras. One 4k and one HD stream. And compared to SDI its less lagg with NDI solution, than going to a SDI switch (making it possible to have multiple programs using the same camera feed) and from the switch, splitting and routing the feed...

NDI Input

I've sold all my thunderbolt capture cards to switch my camera inputs from SDI to NDI... with some huge benefits! 1) It is much faster than a physical live input card. (No more big latency from interactive computers and potentially cameras.) 2) It is resolution and frame rate agnostic! Meaning you c...

Re: Help with exporting 3D OBJ from Photoshop CS6

Im trying to do the same thing with a OBJ. I have a texture file with both a normal map and a specular image as JPG in the same folder as the OBJ. But I can't get it to stick on the object.... I guess I need to create a .mtl file from the jpg? How do I create such a file? Im used to work in Element3...

Re: DRUMS OF WAR! - Interactive Demo

Super inpressive Artnik! I can't even figure out whats made in Magic and what parts are pre rendered. Or is it all live rendered and made in Magic? First of all congrats : ) The things I'm missing would be to add some parallax in the parts where you hava a "still image". And a tiny bit of ...

Re: Key - live video

Thanks fot the link Sadler : ) I tried it out. But got the same results as you. The mask is quite not right the whole time. But its nice to see that softwares like this is making its move in creating a green screen less key feature! I really look forward to see what the new Depth API for developers ...

I think this is getting close to the tool Im after... Thanks for the RemoveBackground.fs Eric! And thanks Terry for the nice setup you got running!
Will check it all out with proper cameras instead of my webcam I'm using at the moment.

Re: Key - live video

Hello there again... I wonder if any one could describe a bit more how to achieve the ISF shader that Eric was describing. I got some friends that knows how to code in general. But maybe not ISF. So I need to point out where to begin. Is there a basic shader to start with, that stores a buffer from ...
