Suitable MBP for live performance
Hey, Previously I was using a MPB 2013, 16gig ram intel HD graphics built in and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M. Render times were very long. I am looking for something that can handle both reduced render times without loss of quality and also be used for heavy load Traktor Pro 4 decks, 1 rotating as sample...

Re: Some music i made
Apologies for the late reply. Here's https://help.elgato.com/ Just a tool for faster format ripping / compression depending where you're uploading. Could be voodoo, I have not timed it yet. "I believe i tried uploading the original 1920x1080 file from Magic several times before, with perhaps up...

Re: Some music i made
I found exporting at 1920x1080 retained more of the detail, and then using elgato turbo 264 for elsewhere. Usually putting the whole uncompressed vid up on youtube. I can't swear by it, but I think Vimeo's compression is kinder to MMV's effects. I've been looking at the last thing we did and it seem...

This blew my mind a little.
Still trying to work out the bits mmv did or better phrased, how you got the models to do that.
Thank you for sharing

A trip around an abandoned insane asylum in Wales
https://youtu.be/sh2RGPmCfiE The story is in the video. More information coming. This took quite a long time on old computers that were pushed to the absolute limit and a 70+ hour render/export. A couple of versions were eaten by crashes, and some were scrapped when they became unwieldy. The music ...

Give me back my eyes #27 - (compression blues)
Think this took two old laptops to the limit of what they could do with magic. Put it together on one and rendered on an old one, not sure if the older laptop is able to handle many scene renders with many modules. Compression has leached a fair amount of detail and colours oddly, the picture was a ...

Re: New visuals: frequency matching with old newsreel
Hi, Thanks for the criticism - there's 6 fx here with their different aspects all matched to different frequencies. For example, the colour rgb was put to the highest frequencies so it would only come in as subtle drifts as part of the overall aesthetic of the noise deconstruction. It was mapped car...

New visuals: frequency matching with old newsreel
This was a Boomtown Rats track deconstructed/folded in on itself - The video is of old Dublin in the 1960s I think. The FX are matched to different frequencies with the colour RGB matched to the very highest band so the only come in a very seldom times and then, only ever so slightly. I wired the mo...

Noob question re: upload
Hey,
Getting a constant degrade on videos after upload and losing a lot of detail.
Drawing a blank on the right search term for it and wondering what I am doing wrong?
Any information would be great thanks.
