Sorry I was unable to contribute, in the end my recording computers' motherboard died and I was unable to get a song down for this..
Hope you get some good entries Eric, and thanks for the competition..
Cheers
Justin

Re: Hey guys... Lets make a Competition !
Yes, thanks Eric, I now understand what you are asking.. I realise you basically just want magic to have full focus, hence my video(s) are too full of other things..
Will try and see if I can do some videos just using magic and music.
Thanks.

Re: Hey guys... Lets make a Competition !
Ok Eric thanks.. I thought part 2 of this comp was for a promotional video... so assets are still needed for that? I realise you want to re-render, but unfortunately my videos are all at 25fps (as we use PAL standard here) so I don't imagine you are going to have a good time converting them to 30fps...

Re: Best pitch question
Hi Eric, no that's brilliant, thank you! You solved one of my issues / questions with the gate modifier, thanks.. Yes, I understand the challenge with pitch detection, probably not like you, but I have a couple of real-time audio to midi trackers (one hardware and one software) and they both fail fr...

Re: Best pitch question
Just an update. Had a look at the help tutorial "ScrollingPitchTracker" - pretty good example. Replaced the audio input with my piano input, and I could see quite a lot of spurious, or should I say harmonic notes being detected. So I created a midi file from the piano part (using melodyne ...

Best pitch question
Hi, am new to this software, but am enjoying it so far, I can see it has a lot of good potential for further enhancements. My question is around the use of the "best pitch" feature. Basically I have a monophonic piano line that is fairly simple, it just uses notes in each chord scale movin...
