Re: Trails's module lag
Hi Eric!
Just installed a fresh Win and it works fine! Before it's not even on new system... Really Magic))
I think its not fps problem , new system has the same fps, and only few modules are connected, not all...
Anyway will keep updated if jitter will back, can't live without Trails))
Thanx!

Trails's module lag
Long time ago i was thinking that my comp is wrong or smth with me... but during a few versions of MM i found the same story with Trail's module... Its amazing one, but it gives a regular jitter which brakes the picture totally, especially on big screen =( It doesn't depend on fps or complexity... I...

But some great shaders still not working in MMV, but in glslsandbox its fine... Is there any reason? :| #ifdef GL_ES precision mediump float; #endif uniform float time; uniform vec2 mouse; uniform vec2 resolution; uniform sampler2D buf; void main(void) { vec2 pos = (gl_FragCoord.xy/resolution-0.5)*v...

Hi guyz! Long time i can't understand why some shaders not working... and i found the reason at least in my case! There's problem with "varying" parameter - MMV can't use it or i do smth wrong? #ifdef GL_ES precision mediump float; #endif uniform float time; varying vec2 surfacePosition; u...

Custom control for shader's parametr
Hey guyz!! Is there any chance to make a custom control parameter for selected shader? For example, i need to control this string in BWwarpdots.txt: vec2 position = ( gl_FragCoord.xy - resolution.xy*.3 ) / resolution.x; // 256 angle steps Changing the number after "resolution.xy" gives the...

Re: Controlling shader effects from midi
Sadler, thanx for such detailed answer!! My problem is in working shaders, they need to be inactive while not in use... I've got ati m5100 firepro - it's not so bad, but in complicated scenes i have 30-40 fps, while without this - all ok 60fps... So maybe there's a way to apply midi on module on\off...

Re: Controlling shader effects from midi
Perhaps you're looking to (cross) fade shaders in and out using midi knobs or sliders. One way that works well for me is to use the RGBA module and link all RGBA to the same control. Sadler, the problem is that [the effect shader] module is still rendering even when its not in use and fps dropdown ...

Re: Controlling shader effects from midi
Hmm, I think the issue you're having is that not all shaders respond to their parameters. It depends on every individual shader. Can you give me an example of an effect you're trying to achieve? Eric, i'm trying just to on\off shader with knob, but their parametrs is another story!) I.e. i need to ...
