It is great that there is a new version, and appreciate that there was an offer of discounts for current users, but they all are already gone.
Not very fair for those of us in odd time zones who don't even get a chance because the email comes out during our night.

Re: Can't activate Input Sources Window
Ahhh...I was looking for something like that, thanks, it worked!Terry Payman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 1:19 pm Try Window>Window Layout>Reset Window Positions.
This will "find" all the Windows if any had inadvertently been off screen.

Can't activate Input Sources Window
I can't seem to make the Input Sources Window appear, either via the menu or using Ctrl-Shift-I hot keys. It has always been fine in the past.
All the other windows work
Anyone got any ideas how or why I can fix this? It makes MMV pretty hard to use.
Using v2.33 64-bit

Linkage
I call it "linkage" and like many things I have created it is a combination of ideas and luck.

Open most recent project on startup automatically
It would be great if there was an option to open my most recent project on startup automatically.

Re: Pin individual modules
FWIW, unless I only have about 5 modules, I have given up on auto arrange, it tends to make things worse.
Maybe for another thread, a great feature would to be able to zoom in and out and move around the workspace like in touch Designer and Tixl.

Pin individual modules
Pressing ctrl-G to organise a scene is pretty good until it becomes a complex scene, then it tends to stretch everything horizontally. It would be a nice feature to be able to pin individual modules in place and then have ctrl-G work it's magic. If, for example, there was 15 modules and I pinned 1, ...

Re: Change Index of Input Switcher with APK Mini (1stgen)
This is a good solution, but leaves the possibility of a black screen if all inputs are "off". I would make the bottom input not MIDI controlled so it is a default.

Missing audio file - how do I find which scene?
I have a project with a large number of scenes. When I load it I get a warning about a missing audio file, but I can't work out which scene is trying to load it.
Is there some way to pinpoint it e.g. searching a file for the media name ?

Re: Exporting scene to video stops scene working
Aha! If you are using live sources to animate your scene, these won't work for movie exporting. You have to use audio/MIDI files for exporting and make sure they are hooked up to your modules properly. That was the issue...but it is crazy that live music won't work, it means that a live performance ...

Exporting scene to video stops scene working
I have a scene that I want to export to video. It works as expected in the magic window.
but as soon as I activate the export to movie option it's as thought the music has been stopped, it outputs the broken scene to video.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Image sweep across screen then return
I am able to get an image to sweep across the screen and then back using a combination of sine wave/scale/offset in the Y plane, but what I really want is for it to sweep across the screen once and then reset and repeat without sweeping back. It is as though I need a saw oscillator. I am sure when s...

Re: toggle by pass on 2 modules with midi
Simples. Feed your two modules into an InputSelector then with a midi source on the Index# add a Trigger (int) and Wrap (set to 2) modifiers. You are right, it is "simples" :D I am new to MMV and hadn't spotted InputSelector, it is kind of hidden being in the "layers" category. ...

toggle by pass on 2 modules with midi
How much fun am I having with MMV after buying it a couple of weeks ago!! If I have 2 modules in parallel how can I toggle between them using midi note value? I don't have any trouble with the actual midi part, but I can't figure how to bypass one and enable the other at the press of a pad. Then rev...

Re: Discovering MMV
I'll give this a "me too". After wrestling with Tixl (tooll3) and Touch Designer and taking ages to understand them, finding MMV by accident a couple of weeks ago was a joy. After 1 hour of playing I bought it. I also agree with the name issue, it isn't a bad name in itself, but in the con...
