Re: Project file crashing on load
I'm glad your ingenious tactic worked, although I'm puzzled that it was necessary. Regarding the temp directory location I only have Windows machines and don't know about Mac, so I tried searching for "temp directory" on this forum. I found this answer from Sadler to the same question htt...

Re: Documentation on blend module?
Thanks a lot for this Terry! Much appreciated. The perplexity summary looks quite good and comprehensible, assuming it is correct. Anyway, now I have a thread to pull on.

Documentation on blend module?
Hi all,
I have been enjoying the blend module lately and would love to know how the different modules compute the output. Is this documented anywhere? I could not find this in the MMV manual.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Another psytrance music video - lots of different MMV effects
Thank you TKS! Using generative AI to make source material is such an enabler. As you alluded to, even the simplest standalone effect suddenly becomes interesting as a modulating texture blended into the existing image. The blend module really is a godsend.

Another psytrance music video - lots of different MMV effects
Another psytrance track, another MMV video. I learned a lot of new stuff since my last video. First and foremost I discovered the Lumakey and Blend modules, which just unlocked so much creativity for me. I also discovered downloadable ISF shaders, which turned out to be a ton of fun. I used a whole ...

Re: Fresh Pressed Deity - psytrance music video
Thank you TKS! Indeed lots of Kaleidoscope. It was perhaps used more subtly in the first part, I definitely agree with that. Although I don't expect to completely leave the Kaleidoscope behind yet, I am a sucker for it, for now.

Re: Fresh Pressed Deity - psytrance music video
Thanks for the feedback Sadler, and apologies for my slow response - just went on my honeymoon! :P I did have corners turned on, so I was a bit confused by the black lines, but I left as is for now. A lot of kaleidoscope indeed. It kept tickling my eye (and still does)! My apologies, was not aware o...

Fresh Pressed Deity - psytrance music video
I just got this software a week ago, and I am genuinely amazed what can be achieved with a moderate amount of work! I can tell I will use this software a lot. Here is my first music video:
