Re: WIN ARM64 - Snapdragon X Plus
How should I benchmark it specifically for MMV? I think there are plenty of normal benchmarks for Snapdragon X Plus devices available online. I’m still super happy to see that MMV works perfectly fine on the machine from a feature perspective, even if the program isn’t optimized for the Windows ARM ...

WIN ARM64 - Snapdragon X Plus
Just wanted to share a quick update, Magic Music Visuals seems to run perfectly fine on my new Snapdragon X Plus Acer Swift 14 AI laptop (stunning device for the price!!!). I haven’t done extensive testing yet, but license registration worked without any issues, and I was able to open and explore so...

Re: Alpha transparency in VideoFile module
[Update] :o I got it to work with the Voukoder Plugin and then exporting from Davinci Resolve direct as HAP. Voukoder_Alpha_HAP.png [OLD Message] That really brings me to my limits right now. I have a masked video in Davinci Resolve and now want to export ist with Alpha Channel to use it in MagicMV....

Re: Beat triggers!
The only difference is that your source would be audio, not MIDI. But you would still use Trigger (.5) and Wrap (2). Sorry for the delay, only today i had time to test your suggestion. But for me it does not work because it only triggers every second beat? As the source i use a BPM synced Ramp. Nev...

Re: Beat triggers!
There are Trigger modifiers for exactly this purpose. He thanks for the input! But I don't understand how to use that if I need it for on/off (0/1) because it increases by 1 to the infinity or generates a random number in between 0 and 1? Any tips how you would use the trigger to generate a 1 every...

Re: Beat triggers!
Hi Korro, I would build the trigger with Ramp and the Threshold function, it works in my attached test project. What surprises me a bit is that it only works under 0.94. Would have assumed that Ramp always reaches 1 and therefore should also work with a threshold setting of 0.99? BPM Trigger V1 (Cus...

Re: How to start an Oscillator at 0.5 not at 0 ?
In your sin and cos expressions multiply the angle, x, by pi. Yes that was the trick for sin and cos to behave like the Tri. Osc in the timing. Thanks so much. After the intensive experimenting I have now also noticed that my statements above were not specific enough! Sine Osc has always sta...

Re: Global LFO's with global BPM
You might try something like this until envelopes are implemented. It is not very visual but is very simple (short) code. As usual, Sadler is the first with a helping hand :D  yeaaa! Thanks man. :!: Will try that direct this afternoon. My intention was less about envelops more about a simply ...

Global LFO's with global BPM
Just an idea that would make BPM synced Music Videos much simpler (at least for me :P ). If there would be the possibility with a global BPM setting per Project and selectable complex LFO in the Global variables. MagicVisual_XLFO_GLOBAL (Custom).png It should always restart the LFO's when exporting ...

Re: How to start an Oscillator at 0.5 not at 0 ?
I hope all of you had a pleasant Christmas time! The last weeks of December are always quite busy for me, therefore I did not have time for more testing, how to get the tri and sin in to the same timing (BPM). Now that my holidays have started, I bought a second Magic Music Visuals license for my la...

Re: How to start an Oscillator at 0.5 not at 0 ?
Your almost there - swap your triangle oscillator for an increase like this: Sin and cos are out of phase by π/2 radians. Having a cyclic function (Tri,) drive another cyclic function (cos/sin) will be a more complex motion. sin(x+pi/6) Hi Sadler and TKS... Sorry for my delayed response and thanks ...

Re: How to start an Oscillator at 0.5 not at 0 ?
Cosine starts from 1. Try using an Increase with an Expression and cos(x). Does that help? I am not sure if I understand your help correctly, excuse my lack of understandingand thanks again for your time and help. The following was my test... oscstart_help.png This lets the triangle osc start at 1 ...

How to start an Oscillator at 0.5 not at 0 ?
I really searched for some time in the forum, I'm pretty sure that there would already be an answer to this, but unfortunately did not find anything.
How to start a Osc at 0.5 ? (so to speak the phase shifted by 90 degrees)

Re: translate/rotate with one fixed point not in the middle
Absolutely not a stupid question. Use the translate node to move your 'pivot' point to the centre of your window then apply a rotation. You can then move your element again to where you need it. Looking at the DancingRobot example project which demonstrates this. Hi Sadler Thank you for the respons...

translate/rotate with one fixed point not in the middle
Hi there
I am not sure if my question is stupid, but at the moment I have not found the solution by my self. I want to move a "polygon line" like a clock hand. one end is fixed, the other should be moved/rotated. Thanks for your help in advance.
