Random modifier seems too consistent?
Good afternoon, So the situation I am running in to is this: I have a random modifier set to the length of a video in seconds, setting where the start of a video plays. What im trying to accomplish is having the video jump to a random point in the overall video every time a kickdrums or snare plays....

Why not have your visuals react to MIDI instead of audio? This would give you more control and consistency. Or do you not use MIDI to create your drums? I'm not really sure if you're asking a complicated theoretical issue or a simple practical one. Even a volume or gain adjustment, MIDI controlled or not, won't result in individual frequencies behaving the same way from song to song.
