Re: Option to set color of connecting cables

color coded 'nipples' indicated the type of data
this would be a fantastic compromise if colored cables aren't an option.

Re: Option to set color of connecting cables

That's sort of the reason I haven't done it. I don't want the interface to be eye candy, I want it to be as clean and simple as possible. hi Eric, you certainly achieved a clean interface, and for the most part, it's super intuitive. but, as mentioned, there are times when color would be more than ...

Option to set color of connecting cables

hi, when a scene starts to develop, I find myself having to trace connecting cables from module to module. would being able to set a unique color for each connecting cable help? I reckon so, and it would add a bit of eye-candy to interface

MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) support

hi, with the advent of MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) devices (some of which i use), support for this protocol would work well for real time control in MMV imo.

Disclosure Energy Fest 2021 online video produced in MMV

hi, this is a video produced for Disclosure Energy Fest 2021. was played live (and subsequently edited in Danvinci Resolve), with midi control from Ableton Live and Novation Launch Control controller. a lot was learned during this process, so if anyone has any questions, shoot...i'll be happy to sha...

Re: Triggering Instances

Hi, yes this would work (similar to what Eric suggested no?)...as you say, this would have implications on processing power...also, was looking for a more elegant solution than hiding duplicates, as you will always have to plan how many scenes/objects need duplicating etc.

Re: Is there away to create non-blurry trails?

Thanks Sadler, that's a help. The "Apply Alpha" was a way to hide object when midi note is not being pressed, but thanks to your example I can see Transparency is the way forward. (This method actually completely hides Blurs ftr.) Yes, using midi note to control Y-Axis is natural. Thanks a...

Re: Is there away to create non-blurry trails?

This is just a simulation using random values to represent midi. There is a little blurring at the edges but not much - looks like motion blur. Trails: [Strength: 1.0] [Blur: Off] [Speed: 2.0] [Z/X: Off] I also tried it by moving the polygon and having Trails Speed: 0. This was a slightly different...

Re: Triggering Instances

You could use the Iterator module Hi, how exactly would this be implemented please? My scenario: 1. Midi note triggers scene which contains object, that translates across screen on x-axis. 2. When the same midi note is received, the same scene/object is retriggered, but the previous triggered scene...
