A simple visualization of a musical version of Edgar Allan Poe's poem “A Dream Within A Dream”.
Nothing too fancy, but I didn't want to distract too much from the music.
It's far too quiet in this forum these days...

Re: Fresh Pressed Deity - psytrance music video
Simple but effective video that supports the song (which I like) well.
I think it would have been better to make the whole video in the style of the first half (or repeat the first half with some simple changes) instead of just the kaleidoscope.
But all in all it's well done, I like it.

The important thing for any timed expression is the 'inrange' function - simplifies the conditions for activation greatly. I've never noticed the 'inrange' function, so far I've always used millions of if() statements, which are a bit better readable, but as you said, hard to reuse. Thanks Sadler 8-)

Shader layering
Some technique I often use for my relaxing/chillout videos is the layering of shaders with various blend settings, where the topmost layer is what you actually see and the hidden layer(s) are just used for coloring the top layer. It's simple, easy on the CPU and gets the job done. Enjoy: https://www...

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how you are fading between the various shaders in Magic? I suspect this is achieved with playlists, but also, you could be setting keyframes somehow to morph the variables in each shader. The obvious and easiest way are playlists, the next one (with less options) is...
