Re: NDISender - Performance
Hi riptide76, I'm running everything magicmusicvisuals off one computer. So MMV currently use the main sender to OBS. I would like to send more than 1 sender to OBS (the stream would only have the main) but I want the ability in OBS to record a different scene which would , if possible with this thr...

Thanks, that explains a lot. The problem is that i wanted to send two different video streams from MMV to OBS. Is there a workaround that currently exists?

NDISender - Performance
Hi everyone, I've just setup everything to have a NDISender on some of my scenes so that OBS can do some overrides of the MMV playlists (swapping OBS scene for one that takes NDISender instead of MMV Spout) There is a significant performance drop when fetching NDI sender instead of SpoutV2. I have t...

Well, it's an internal URL, so magic visuals is streaming over USB2.0. And yes, both phones at the same time.

Video Stream Input - Not stable
Hi everyone, I've been using the video stream media input and I've noticed that when using two URL streams (it's the internal URL from droidcamX which is a phone to PC video stream), the image tends to either NOT load or freeze after a few minutes in MMV. Sometimes it works, sometimes it freezes. Is...

Playlist management
Hi, A feature that, perhaps I'm not the only one that could make us of, is the ability to create multiple playlist groups. Right now the only way to manage different playlist is to disable/add new components. If there would be a way to set a components in multiple playlists that would be amazing! Ch...

Re: GPU Selection for dedicated MMV & Stream PC
I just recently upgraded to a RTX3080, and i can absolutely crazy things BUT, there is a limit. Esp with rendering that is use into a rendering, into a rendering into a rendering..... Very recursive re-use of existing scenes can tend to make it rough on the GPU (even an RTX3080!)

Let's put it this way then : How do i use only 25% of a scene's area as an input into another scene? I want to be able to use all 4 25% portions (top left, right, bottom left, bottom right), as independent components. Even if I hide using polygons or whatever the module, 75% of the scene's undesired...

Hi Eric, I'm trying to do the crop the way we discussed but it doesn't end up being usable in order scenes. Because they aren't the most rapid ones to do. click/drag area would be better but I understand that MMV's UI isn't built for that (or would it be possible maybe a more appropriate question).

Hi, Reading the forums, the only thing I could was to use the "Resolution" module but I'm not sure if it''ll do an OBS like crop where some components aren't rendered at all outside of the cropped boundaries. I've also seen the mask / polygon method. Are those the only two ways to do this?...

Hi, I've got a lot of "random" generator of values. The expression I use is as follow (rather than offset). 1- a generator of your choosing, random, sin oss, triangle oss etc 2- (x-.5) = this will allow values to go from -.5 to +0.5 3- scale to your desired value. Good luck in your project...

Ok perfect, i've gone back to the manual with your comment and I understood that by default, the trigger is every time it hits 0.5 in it of itself with the sin/ram etc.

Re: VideoFolder module - controlled loop time?
Hi,
I've tried, it and it works in the sense that i can see the trigger working but there is no way for me (i've tried so many different values) to control the trigger time. I'm trying to space out the times with the oscillator without any success.
What am i doing wrong?

Yes, but I couldn't then restack the original area with over the masked portion. The module did an amazing job at isolating my "body" but then that's just a black mask. You talking about the chromakey.txt GLSL?
